I have attended college courses in programming, mathematics and engineering. While I was unfortunately unable to continue my college education, I have continued to study and practice on my own in the field that I passionately want to pursue. PHP is currently my strongest language and it is one that I've had to teach myself for both professional and personal projects.
Like any good programmer, I love a good challenge. I enjoy solving problems where I need to research available tools, best practices and potential deployment issues. Pushing my limits and doing new things is how I learn, and I've acquired a talent for learning on the fly in such a way that I'm seldom off balance or over my head when faced with new challenges.
That being said, I understand that we can't all be pioneers and innovators all the time. As such, I welcome opportunities to work on the bread and butter tasks of any project. Form validation, XML parsing, HTTP requests and user validation can all benefit from the hand of a developer that knows that the thousand small tasks in any project affect the overall product quality as much, if not more, than a couple dozen new and interesting problems. As a developer, I care about your project and I will dedicate myself to making sure that anything I deliver is of the highest quality.
