I can provide a variety of services that fall under the areas of writing, marketing, research, and search engine optimization. I have a degree in economics from Washington University in St. Louis, and I recently left my position as the Director of Marketing at a rapidly growing e-commerce company. I greatly enjoy what I do, and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to do it for such a wide variety of interesting projects.
I speak English as a first language, and I have a strong statistical and technical background. I also have some experience in direct mail, print advertising, and traditional public relations. I've succeeded in getting companies mentioned in publications like Woman's World, Astronomy Magazine, Pregnancy & Newborn, and Real Simple.
I also spend a great deal of time staying current with online marketing best practices, so you can rest assured that I won't be advising outdated or inaccurate strategies.
If you've hired me for search engine optimization, you're not going to spend a fortune on ineffective directory submissions or blog comments (half of which will likely be "nofollowed" anyway).
If you ask me to help out with your AdWords, I'm not going to dump all of your keywords into one or two ad groups and call it a day.
Similarly, if I'm helping you with social media, I will work on your behalf to make connections and interact with the most relevant communities - not spam the masses and hope something sticks.
I love what I do, and quality is important to me. A good portion of my income comes from being an affiliate marketer for a wide variety of major companies, so I've tested hundreds of campaigns and techniques. Everyone I work with benefits from the thousands of hours of experience I've accumulated in online marketing.
If you're looking for quality and substance, I encourage you to get in touch.

Payment Terms
I prefer to use Elance's Escrow system, but I will occasionally make exceptions for repeat clients or those who have extremely strong histories here on Elance.
Unless otherwise agreed prior to awarding the bid, the escrow account will need to be fully funded prior to beginning work. 50% will be released at the outset of the project, and the remainder will be in escrow until the project's completion.
For projects over $2000, we can establish 3 or more milestones and divide the payments into smaller increments.
