Payment Terms
Depends on the size of the project and buyer past history:
For projects below $100 :
Usually no escrow required and 100% after delivery if reputable buyer else 100% escrow funding on start and release after final delivery.
For projects from $100 to $600 :
Unless agreed otherwise 20% upfront,
30% after first draft delivery / iteration,
and 50% after final delivery.
For projects more than $600 custom arrangement will be submitted according to project nature and delivery milestones.
NOTE 1: Since I have very recently started (01/2009) bidding on elance projects I offer sometimes very competitive prices for fixed fee jobs in order to re-create my otherwise excellent "off-line" / out of Elance work record. This DOES NOT translate to inferior services - every client ,even for a $50 project receives the same professional treatment, since I always strive for total client satisfaction and my excellent feedback record/reviews proves that too (Just click the Feedback tab above) Take advantage of this offer since it will not last long!
NOTE 2: Regular clients with repeated jobs usually get reduced quotes and favorable fee & schedule arrangements depending on past work nature & experience (eg: I prefer to work again on systems installed & secured by me versus to debugging seriously messed up servers)
