Summary
As a crackerjack editor, it's my job to understand exactly and deeply what your writing is about, so that I can help make it everything you know it can be. Whether light or substantive, line- or copy-editing, whether you want your voice to be retained or developed, I will apply skills learned over the last 30 years in trade publishing (fiction and non-fiction), magazine editing, pharmaceutical advertising, television production, speech writing, and the generation of b-to-b marketing materials.
Recently I've been proofreading for a pharmaceutical re-branding project in 14 languages, editing Web sites for performing arts agencies, and suggesting revisions for scholarly articles and how-to manuscripts written by university professors. Editing fiction remains a true love and a constant source of happiness!

I'm an excellent writer and an even better editor. Applying the critical skills required to see deeply into a piece of writing, to understand what it will take to make your book/article/Web site/paper/copy the best piece of work it can be, and to either make changes or to suggest changes -- whatever you prefer -- is where I excel. My proofreading skills are unsurpassed... and I am the winner of our local spelling bee -- twice! (Some of the winning words: nidicolous -- which refers to baby birds that don't leave the nest in a hurry -- and embouchure, epergne, and omphaloskepsis.) Jobs are done with energy and enthusiasm, professionally, quickly, and to your specs, with satisfaction guaranteed.
