Detailed Service Description
I have loved writing since I was old enough to string together more than three words. I prefer writing about things that I love already or things that I am interested in learning about. I have fairly broad interests but I most enjoy what I consider "la bella vita" category, food, wine, fashion, luxury items, hospitality, travel; things with a hedonistic bent. I also spent years on sports teams and my academic fortes are literature and science.
I believe my writing style best accommodates work that is related to article writing and web content because I tend to be very descriptive and enthusiastic with the subjects I love. With an additional cup of coffee I move into the more academic style of writing needed for proofreading and more professional work. If you substitute a glass of Chianti or Champagne or two then the personal style for dating work (yes, I want to be the new Carrie Bradshaw) comes out---but no amount of wine induces writing "pickup" or "seduction" pieces--- a couple years working behind a bar gave me a wealth of information on the subject and a great disdain for the use of it.
Being an expat who has no native English speaking friends in Florence has honed my Italian skills quite quickly. For translations I believe work should always have a final proofing by a native speaker to ensure high quality. I work with a native Italian speaker (Pierluca Birindelli) and a native French speaker (Laetitia Robin) and together we can provide you with translations to or from English, French and Italian.
