Midwesterner with a life-long passion for technology and writing, I started as a part-time teachers assistant for computer classes while still in high school. Over that time, I've watched the technology move forward from those standalone Apple IIs to the networked beasts of today, and haven't lost any of my enthusiasm for these miraculous tools.
As a person, I've always relished opportunities that exceeded my current skill-level, because I've always seen it as a chance to continue my learning. Challenges never discourage me, I've always seen them as a chance to improve myself, both with new skills and in many cases new ways of thinking that can be applied to seemingly unrelated areas. My ambition is focused not on getting promotions or recognitions, but that tomorrow I will have exceeded what I was yesterday.
