Summary
I've been a designer for almost 20 years now, having started designing since High School. Before working full-time in freelancing, I've worked as a designer in various companies from SME's to multinational outfits until October 2005, when I have finally decided to move on and go solo. I provide customized designs for web and print. I also do front-end programming of my web designs and I always suggest solutions to my clients to make their websites more navigable, memorable and highly creative. When it comes to websites, my preference at this point has been Wordpress customization -- I see no reason why, we need to "reinvent the wheel", when there are applications out there that will do the job and in less time, and would be very easy for site owners to maintain after deployment. I also do Virtual Assistance, where I basically do print & web design, web maintenance, SEO, technical support, etc.

About Me
Profile Type: Individual
Year Founded: 2000
Number of Employees: 1
I've been a designer for almost 20 years now, having started designing since High School. Before working full-time in freelancing, I've worked as a designer in various companies from SME's to multinational outfits until October 2005, when I have finally decided to move on and go solo. I provide customized designs for web and print. I also do front-end programming of my web designs and I always suggest solutions to my clients to make their websites more navigable, memorable and highly creative. I'm based in the Philippines and I don't have a problem working long hours just so a project can be submitted early enough for the client. I work fast, learn fast, communicate easily and am willing to negotiate.
Payment Terms
For projects $200 - above, I would prefer ESCROW payment for first time clients. This would mean a down payment would need to be paid by the BUYER before the project starts. Mockups are provided freely in the initial stage, but down payment will have to be made when BUYER has selected a preference from the mockups submitted, or wish to see more mockups done.
Projects below $200 can be paid upon submission of final output. Preferred payment is ESCROW, to protect both BUYER and myself.
Hourly rates will be computed based on the ff preferences:
1. Fixed minimum hours per week -- I have a fixed minimum set of (5) five hours at an hourly rate of $18-$25 (depending on nature of tasks) per week. This is best for tasks that involve a mix of web and graphic design work.
2. Negotiable set of hours for long term -- meaning when BUYER recognizes that he cannot gauge how many hours a project will take, but is willing to pay the total cost for the hours it took to provide all outputs. Hours will be computed after final outputs have been presented and will reflect in the invoice. This is best for long term projects that take more than 3 weeks to do and involves a mix of web and graphic design work.
Regular Retainer work at fixed rate -- similar to the negotiable hourly rate terms, this is best for clients who have ongoing projects on a monthly basis. The BUYER may opt to engage me on a 3 or 6 month contract term at a fixed price that needs to be negotiated/determined depending on nature of work to be done. Invoices will be sent bi-monthly.

Detailed Service Description
Designers need not cost an arm and a leg, there are great designers that work offshore who charge reasonably less than what is normally quoted in the US, Canada or other countries. Philippine designers and developers are highly creative and industrious, and are well worth your time, trust and money. Relevant experience in the IT field enables me to develop anything from the most basic websites, to high-end online presences that fits your business needs. Just because I work offshore, doesn't mean I cant equal or do better than what you're used to. As much as I would like to compete equally with rates abroad, I understand the reasons why clients need cheaper options -- that is the reason why I always prefer to talk to potential clients first, hear them out before I give a final quote on my service. Not all buyers are created equal, and even though there are good buyers out there that are financially challenged, that doesnt mean they dont deserve the help of a good and conscientious provider. Give me a call today for creative, sensible and affordable ideas for your presence online or on print. I can be reached via contact info stated here in elance.
