Kari has a balanced background in both humanities and sciences. Currently, she's pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing although her Bachelor's Degree is in Bioengineering with a Minor in Chemistry. She's used that background to successfully complete many E-Books on technical subjects.
She has spent time teaching at the Young Writer's Institute offered through the University of Pittsburgh, during which she instructed fifth graders in the art of short story writing. She is also a member of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Online Writing Workshop, a well-respected online critique group, and participates regularly to improve her own writing and help others improve theirs. Writing is always a process of learning, and Kari takes every opportunity she gets to improve her craft. She is also an active member of Pennwriters, Inc., and has recently joined Critique Circle to expand her networking with fellow authors.
Kari takes special interest in the following:
-blogs and E-Books on medicine, travel, cars, fashion, and dating

Payment Terms
For projects under $1,000 USD:
Full amount must be deposited in Escrow prior to job commencement.
For projects over $1,000 USD:
Full amount must be deposited in Escrow, with 10% released to Cooper Inscriptions, prior to job commencement.
For all projects:
-Buyer milestones must be adhered to. This includes responding to e-mails promptly, answering project questions, and releasing milestone funds to Cooper Inscriptions upon delivery of materials owed. If buyer does not comply, Cooper Inscriptions reserves the right to adjust the final due date accordingly. In the case of projects with multiple milestones, writers will not move on to the next milestone until all funds owed from completed milestones are released.
-If the buyer becomes non-responsive (i.e. failing to answer questions or reply to e-mails) for an extended amount of time, Cooper Inscriptions reserves the right to cancel the project and keep a percentage of the project value corresponding to the percentage of the project completed. All remaining funds will be returned to the buyer.
-All fees charged by Cooper Inscriptions include the cost of two revisions, should the buyer request them. This service is negated, however, if buyer is non-responsive for an extended amount of time and the project is canceled.
We are aware that some buyers are wary of making deposits into Escrow, but our reasons are as follows:
These payment terms are in place to hold both the buyer and we writers at Cooper Inscriptions accountable. By uploading funds in Escrow, you give us incentive to work and we know that we are responsible for meeting delivery due dates. It also ensures that the buyer is active in the project, which is a necessity. This protection ensures a positive relationship between buyer and provider, as well as quality work.
The writers at Cooper Inscriptions love their jobs and are happy to write everyday. We pride ourselves in delivering quality work, so have no fear that we'll run away from a project.

Detailed Service Description
Our work method changes between projects in order to maximize efficiency. We approach each project differently, based on the needs of the employer. You can expect us to stick to deadlines, be passionate about our work, and deliver a polished final project.
When we take on a project, we like to keep the lines of communication open. This helps ensure that both parties are aware of the project's status, that any arising problems are dealt with in a timely manner, and that the employer has continual input on their project if desired. We can also handle aggressive work schedules.
Skype, AIM, phone, Elance PMB, Google Chat, and e-mail are all acceptable forms of communication.
While a project is in "working" status, we are willing and able to do any necessary research, conduct interviews, sign non-disclosure agreements, teach basic writing or speaking concepts, and learn new software appropriate for the project's needs. We work quickly and learn quickly, which makes us adaptable to many different types of freelance projects.
