Payment Terms
On acceptance of any project, I will submit a final agreement to the client, to be signed and returned prior to commencing work. This agreement outlines project milestones, expected completion times, and estimated costs for each milestone.
I generally require a deposit of the estimate prior to commencing work , commensurate on the project scope, to be held in Elance escrow until the client is completely satisfied with the first milestone. Deliverables will be presented to the client and the remaining project fees will be immediately due on completion, 30 days net. If the invoice remains unpaid after 30 days, a 10% interest charge per month will be added to the total project cost.
Termination: Should the Client or myself elect to terminate the project prior to completion, I agree to immediately terminate project progress and invoice the Client immediately for any work done to that point. Should the deposit exceed the total invoice, I agree to release the remainder of funds exceeding the invoice to the client. All graphics and other files remain my property until the invoice is fully resolved.
