2007-2009 - Graphic Designer
While designing full-time for Web Feet Integrated Marketing, I was given the opportunity to design fabulous projects that included package design, advertising design, direct mail campaigns, web site design, identity packages, and trade show presentations. Their focus on integrated marketing sharpened my skills as a graphic designer by having me think outside of a particular design application to create full advertising campaigns for their clients.

About Me
Profile Type: Individual
Year Founded: 1998
Number of Employees: 1
I am a proud member of the AIGA and adhere to the AIGA Standards of Professional Practice.
I am happy to adapt to the communication needs of my clients, but I prefer the usage of the Elance Private Message Board (PMB), instant messaging, and e-mail to ensure that project specifications, details, and modifications are clearly defined in writing, received at a convenient time, and easy to reference throughout the production process. I find that having a text-based record of communication protects both my client and myself from miscommunication and the frustrations that may bring.

Payment Terms
For proposals, the concepts presented and estimates provided will only be valid for ninety (90) days from the date stated in the proposal document. If the buyer does not accept the terms within that time a new proposal must be developed in order to reflect an accurate timeline and pricing structure.
For projects that use escrow, I require that funding be provided before work begins. The release of these funds should be made on or before the final delivery of files.
For all non-escrow projects, I require 25% down-payment before the initial designs are developed. The remainder of the payment is due after the design is accepted by the buyer but prior to the delivery of final design files.
After payment is made in full, all intellectual property rights for the purchased design will belong to the buyer. The buyer must then go on to complete U.S. and international registration of copyright, trademark, patent and other rights in his or her own name.
Unless otherwise stated in the mutually agreed upon written proposal, transactions are for the purchase of one creative approach or concept to be selected by buyer and executed to buyer's satisfaction by Valerie Spencer. All other ideas, concepts, or designs described or exhibited remain the property of Valerie Spencer and may not be disclosed to others.
After final delivery, I would appreciate permission to use samples of the final design in my professional portfolio(s) and on other self-promotional materials.
