I currently possess a doctorate in Physics and Mathematics. I have held a career as a Nuclear Physicist for over 30 years. Studying English was one of my hobbies for many years, as a result I was presented with many opportunities to translate and revise many scientific articles and technical documents. I also have a very extensive knowledge of English literature as I have a large library collection of English classics since reading is one of my passions. I always expect research to be the part of a writing job. One of my examples would be an article that I had to write for an oil Production Company. Support materials would include technical terms and subjects I have never seen or heard before. I had to spend some time learning the style and rules of oil production technical language and technical aspect of oil manufacturing equipment, though it was not related to my primary science degree.
