I have been instrumental in all phases of the development and growth of this regional web portal - from inception through soft launch and official launch. I have gained a myriad of new skills, from HTML coding, to an in depth understanding of website development, to marketing the site to consumers as well as advertisers. In addition to these responsibilities, I have become a self-taught social marketer, developing a Facebook and Twitter presence for The Local Accent, as well as marketing the clients served by the site through these avenues. I have also learned both InDesign and Photoshop to the degree that I create rudimentary creative files as needed.

Duties included opening, scheduling and overseeing details of jobs, as well as solicitation of print estimates and supplier services. Other small agency "hats worn" included media purchasing and ad fulfillment, direct mail fulfillment and client contact/customer service relations.
