Summary

A writer since I could hold a pen in my hand, I have continued into making a living doing what I love. I have always devoured books as fast as I could collect them, and always written prolifically. My career path took me into the public garden world--as a gardener and as an administrator working on fundraising, educational programs, websites, newsletters, and more.

I now work part time in the "for profit" business world as a marketing coordinator managing all aspects of the social media marketing for the business. I write the company blog, manage the Twitter feed, and am an active participant in online forums and blogs, acquiring backlinks for the business.

While I enjoy researching a wide variety of subjects and creating dynamic, engaging writing, my areas of expertise are: horticulture, gardening, event planning, animals, real estate, books, reading, professional development, and business development.

About Me

Profile Type: Individual
Year Founded: 2007
Number of Employees: 1
I am a self-starter from the non-profit world, currently working part-time in the business world working for an internet based business as the marketing coordinator. (I recently switched to part-time hours to grow my freelance writing business.)

At Queensboro, I managed the affiliate and network marketing programs, press release writing, auto-responder emails, and more. Now, I write the company blog and handle all social media marketing tasks, including the blog, posting to other blogs and forums, Twitter, and more.

Elance has been a great forum for me to share my skills and talents with people from around the world. With clients in the United States, Canada, UK and Australia, I have learned much about different cultures, writing styles and needs. I have written blogs, newsletters, web copy and articles about diverse subjects including birds, yoga, internet marketing, natural horsemanship, hydroponics (the legal kind), real estate, flower gardening and more.

Several recent article ghostwriting and blogging projects have yielded front page Google search results without obscure or specific search terms or phrases.

The research component of Elance projects is equally fun as the writing component. I enjoy a challenge and would love to put my skills and talents to work for you!

Payment Terms

My turnaround time depends on the scope of project.

When accepting a project, I will return a timetable and business agreement with benchmarks for your review and acceptance or editing.

I can accept escrow payment through Elance.

For all projects, I request a payment of 50% to initiate and 50% upon completion. For all escrow projects, I request that the second escrow payment be funded before I send final drafts, with funds to be released upon approval.

Please note that until all funds are released, the project materials that I produce remain within my copyright protection. The copyright is released to the buyer upon complete payment.
