Oneil Williams was born in Kingston, Jamaica. He immigrated to the United States in 1995. He attended the James Hillhouse High School where he received his GED and received a full scholarship to attend the Eastern Connecticut State University. During his collegiate years, Oneil also studied at Yale University and the Queen Margaret University College in Edinburgh, Scotland. He concluded his tertiary education at the University of Central Florida where he received his Bachelor and Master of Arts in Communication.
At age 15, Oneil was a freelance writer for Jamaica's premier newspaper publication, The Sunday Gleaner. At age 25, Oneil had already published his first book of poetry, The Kaleidoscope of Color. Oneil's attention to detail and superior literary skills are undeniable. And his passion for writing nothing short of inspiring.
