I have just spent the last four years at IBM as the lead developer and architect for the BladeCenter Advanced Management Module, an embedded device for systems management. Unfortunately, I was laid off recently due to budget cuts across the entire Systems & Technology Group.

My work and resume speaks for itself. I have a total of 12 years web development experience. I have used all of the technologies required in the description. I was also an early adopter of AJAX technology and implemented a PHP based toolkit for use by other developers (CPAINT - still available on SourceForge, although no longer in active development).

We have reviewed the specifications provided . The bid is for creating a full featured Hosting Control Panel based on brief features provided.

The bid is from a 9 year old software company .Our company has developed many high end web based applications in the past like end to end CRM, E-procurement with forward and reverse auction engines, Mortgage Leads Management application , Restaurant listing services , Property management solution, E-commerce applications ,B2B portals,Route scheduling system, Job portal, Transport Solutions, Virtual Trade Shows, Corporate Intranets ,Online medical Claims Management , Assessment/Survey Tools,Ratings System,Insurance Portals etc, and work on various platforms.

We follow a very systematic methodology that involves extensive documentation. We follow 'Use cases' to define actors, their roles and rights to understand the flow which is followed by designing ERD. ONly when the flow-chart, use-case diagram, ERD and GUI's are approved by the customer, we implement the business logic in code. This is then provided to our testing team who identify and communicate the bugs that are fixed before the beta link is sent to customer. The customer checks and send us a list of bugs/changes which are fixed. The final site is then handed over to the customer.
We effectively use our dedicated servers for sharing the site updates with the customers so that you can check the progress.

Our team include 10 developers, designer, usability specialist, and project manager.

Our hourly rate is $20. A rough estimate for this project is about 4000 hours. It's $70.000 in total.

Bidder Comments : We are group of J2EE specialists. We have experience in building and optimizing J2EE applications (WebSphere, Jboss, Tomcat, Resin) ( also in clusters). (we were doing performance audits for one of polish banks). For almost 8 years most of us worked in core team of aareon/mareon - developing and maintaining b2b applications for real estate (orders and invoices flow) - and we gathered much experience with backups, updates, and security policies.
We have also experience with PHP (for instance doing www.tesco.pl).
Out of mentioned reqs we do not have bigger experience with Ruby.

The price is estimated only we can set correct one after we get all reqs and deadlines. (we have price c.a.27$ per hour).
