How do I delete my credit card or bank account number on MyElance Account page?
To remove a credit card or bank account from your Elance Account page, please follow the steps below:
1. Login to your MyElance Main Menu page.
If you are not logged in, enter your Elance username and password.
2. Click on the 'My Account' link in the left menu column.
3. Click on the delete link next to the associated account you wish to have removed.
4. Click submit to confirm deletion.
Please note:
If you have a membership tied to a credit card that you have removed, you will need to update your membership payment method to avoid any disruptions in service.
If you delete your authenticated credit card, you will not be able to make a payment to a service provider or fund an escrow project with that credit card. If you need to make a credit card payment to a service provider or fund an escrow project, you will have to enter a new credit card and authenticate that card.
