Why is MyElance Account frozen?
Per the Elance Terms of Service, Elance may freeze a service provider's Elance Account based on the following:
If you are a service provider and have not paid a project fee, the project amount and any feedback related to that project will not be counted in your provider profile. If you do not pay the project fee by its due date, your Elance Account will become delinquent (frozen), and you will be unable to submit proposals for projects. To pay your overdue project fees, click on the ‘MyElance’ link above, and then click the ‘My Account’ link in the left menu column. Click on the ‘pay now’ link(s) for any overdue project fees.
If you are a service provider and you have not accepted or declined project awards in your ‘bidding closed’ page after 30 days, your Elance Account will become delinquent (frozen), and you will be unable to submit proposals for projects. You will still be able to use the private message board (PMB) to continue working on your accepted projects. Click on the ‘MyElance’ link above, and then click on the ‘Provider Activity’ link in the left menu column. Click on the ‘bidding closed’ tab to locate the projects you have been awarded. Click on the ‘accept project’ or ‘decline project’ link.
