How do I post feedback through Elance?

Elance allows buyers and service providers to leave feedback about the experience they had working with one another on their profiles.

The 'leave feedback icon' on 'buyer activity,' and the 'request feedback' links on 'provider activity' do not appear UNTIL the Final Milestone date on their Business Terms page or after the buyer makes their first payment.  Feedback can only be left once and cannot be removed or modified once submitted.

To leave feedback please follow the steps below.

1. Login to the MyElance Main Menu.

If you are not logged in, enter your Elance username and password.

2. If you are a buyer click 'Buyer Activity' in the left menu column.  If you are a service provider click 'Provider Activity' then 'Accepted Project'.

3. Click 'Leave Feedback' next to the appropriate project.  You will be sent to the feedback review form.

Buyers will be able to rate the service provider's performance and leave comments. Service providers can leave comments about the buyer. After a buyer submits feedback for a service provider, it will be displayed in the provider's profile once the provider pays the project fees for that project.

Feedback Expiration – Both parties have 60 days after the Final Milestone date to leave feedback.  This is to ensure the feedback and ratings seen on a members’s profile are based on recent experiences.
