How do I create/edit my portfolio?

Elance provides a portfolio feature that allows service providers to showcase samples of their best work. It is highly recommended that service providers who do visual or written work create a quality portfolio for prospective employers to review.

Service providers can upload most types of text, graphic, audio, video, and animation files.* However .doc, .gif or .jpg format files are the easiest for most Elance buyers to view with a standard Internet browser.

To upload samples of your work:

1. Log in to the MyElance Main Menu.

2.  Click on the 'Provider Profile' link in the left navigation menu.

3.  Click on the 'Portfolio' link in the profile.

4. Click on 'Edit Current Folder':
- 'Add items' lets you upload files, along with titles and descriptions. For image files, the display size is 500 pixels wide x 375 pixels tall.
- 'Add subfolders' makes it easier to group your files into folders.
- 'Arrange items' lets you easily organize the order in which your files and folders appear.
- You can also 'Delete' and 'Edit' items as you like.
- When you create a new subfolder, you cannot move previously uploaded items into that subfolder.

* Please note: .html and .htm files that redirect to your own website will NOT be displayed in your portfolio.  Only upload standard file types such as .gif, .jpg, .swf, .doc, .ppt, .pdf, .xls, .mp3, etc. to your portfolio.
