Service Description
Having previously worked in a Systems Management capacity in a number of multi-national corporations, I have been self-employed for the 3 years as a Web Developer, during which time I have been retained to work on a variety of commercial projects.
Principally, my time has been occupied with the development and management of a number of online music sales portals, www.downloadmusic.ie and www.textatrack.co.uk, which allow for the sale of music directly to mobile phones via Premium Rate Reverse Billing. These projects are ongoing.
I have also worked on online shopping, real estate and CMS web applications, and advised several companies in the area of SEO optimisation, web marketing and web analysis.
I am based in Ireland.
Web Development Project Methodology
1. Scoping
I will ask you to complete a brief Desired Outcomes form. This ensures that I understand the scope of what you want to acheive, both in terms of user experience and administration.
This form will be sent to you on the same day you award the project
2. Functional Specification
Based on the content of the Desired Outcomes form, I will complete a Functional Specification document. This will outline in detail the technical capabilities of the web application, and describe the various processes and experiences associated with user and administrative experience.
The Functional Specification will also describe the hosting and development environment associated with the website.
