Help align scans of a person to make ready for 3d modeling 3d printing
We're looking for entry-level to experienced persons to work with a company that creates personalized gaming miniatures for use in board games, etc. This is a great opportunity to add this unique experience to your resume!
You'll be working with 3d scans of people to optimize for 3d printing. We need help cleaning up the models to be print ready.
Qualifications: Working knowledge or experience in zbrush, mudbox, meshmixer, or blender and able to effectively communicate in English.
If you can't get jobs done on time - please don't apply - we've got a lot of work to hand out.
This job is a work from home position where you can do as much/little as you want and get paid per batch of models done.
Summary: Align scans of a person (.ply files) in Meshlab/comparable software to create a single scan. The model is then cleaned up/sharpened/fixed, scaled correctly and made 3d print ready (i.e. no holes etc). Files will be decimated and sent back as STL files. Some models may require additional work (i.e. cutting off the heads/hats).
Each completed model pays $10 and may take 1-2 hours to complete. Freelancers are given batches of 5 at a time with a due date within 5 days of receiving all the files. The model is considered complete once we test for 3d printing compatibility and the model looks clean/sharp etc.
We've got a bunch of work to give out to freelancers!
