Linux/CentOS & Apache Administrator
I'm looking for a professional and trustworthy administrator of our Linux/CentOS system which hosts our ecommerce website.
It's time for an upgrade of our services and I need to make sure it gets done right. Apache and PHP need to be updated to more current versions. Both of these need to be included in the update:
I would like support to monitor our website and make sure all is working, ensuring proper migration of existing settings is handled properly and our website doesn't go down. The website software is proprietary software written by an off-shore company and I can make sure they're monitoring the process as well, if needed.
Additionally, I would like to get support to update our DNS settings to be correct and make sure that our SSL certificate is properly installed and working for our customers and that they're not getting any errors.
Originally we set up the server ourselves and it's been working, but many things are simply not correct. We use no-ip.com for our DNS management and the rest is managed with our hosting company, The Planet.
Any recommendations you could make about how things should be better set up for security and proper function would be greatly appreciated.
Once all this is complete, I would like to have someone on call for any other server maintenance which may be required as we simply do not have the time to do these things anymore and we would like someone to handle it who is knowledgeable and whom we can trust implicitly to get these things done quickly and accurately.
Please let me know if you may be a good candidate for all this.
