Minor update for iOS apps made in Appcelerator Titanium
We need some optimization and simple corrections to a series of apps for iOS, built with Appcelerator. Then upload all the apps to Apple. Looking for bids around $150.
Our previous Appcelerator person is unavailable but we have complete archives of the apps. The current versions are optimized for iPhone 4, 5 and iPad, also Android, but we do not need Android updates of the apps.
There are six apps in total, they need to be updated for the following:
1. Fix two small issues:
a) The text of the clock/battery strip at the top of the iOS device is overlapping with the body text (the body text is HTML). See the attached image. This is a glitch caused by iOS8; it was fine in iOS7. The body text should scroll under the clock/battery strip on the device, not interfere with it.
b) The title "GCSE Science 'A' Revision Guide" has disappeared from the Home navigation screen. See the other attached image. The text has turned white whereas before it was black. Again it seems to be an iOS8 glitch.
2. Optimization of appearance for iPhone 6 and 6 Plus –– We want the visual appearance of all parts of the app to scale up directly for the new iPhones, like zoom. So, bigger text/images, not more text/images per screen. The Home (chapter) navigation screen and sub-chapter screen are Appcelerator-based and may need some programming; possibly the HTML pages of the content may scale automatically if that is default iOS behaviour for the new phones?
Here is a free Lite version of one of the apps for reference:
You will need to create provisioning profiles/certificates etc via iTunes Connect. We do not know how to do this, so we will add you as a Technical team member, or you can connect to our Mac via Screen Sharing to do whatever work is needed live.
Timescale is immediate: the work needs to be completed within two weeks. Testing process can be to send us IPAs via Dropbox, we will provide UDIDs, or use TestFlight on iTunes Connect.
Thank you for your bid.
