I have an AAS degree with a major in Accounting. Spent several years working in a variety of companies working as the lead Accounts Payable person with 3 staff members under me. I worked for a start up pharmaceutical company and computerized their accounting system making reporting for clinical trials, as well as the overall business, easier to management. Also spent time working for Copper Manufacturer in their hedge department learning about the Commodity Exchange and buying and selling futures. I worked for 3 years for Dow Chemical as a contractor in their Strategic Purchasing Department working on Customer presentations, travel arrangements for 5 managers, handling emails, typing letters to customers, booking meetings and scheduling events for 60+customers at local hotel venues including media set up and food.
