Not willing to relocate. I have been self employed since 2002 but am looking to get back into the workforce. I have over 20 years experience in accounting and have been maintaining the books for my husband since 2007. He is an owner/operator with Anderson Trucking Service. I handle all his bookkeeping up to but not including tax prep. I have extensive experience in all aspects of the Trucking industry. Any advice or assistance that you may be able to provide will be greatly appreciated. I have been out of the public workforce so long that I am just getting used to applying for positions on line.

I got my formal training in 2005 from Intuit, the company behind QuickBooks itself. I have been using QB Premier, Enterprise as well as Online Plus version since then. I am also a QuickBooks trainer in the Philippines, conducting trainers and seminars for users and beginners. I was in Melbourne, Australia for in 2012, doing accounting job for my Australian employer. I directly reported to him all the time. Besides accounting, my work entailed administrative and customer service tasks, meeting and communicating with clients from time to time. Multi-tasking had been part of my job. My employer has ADHD and Bipolar disorders, hence getting everything organized for him is a must and messages have to be delivered to him in a way that he will understand right away.
