My story? I studied Applied Physics, during my studies I spent a semester working in the US and a semester working in Belgium. After my studies I went to work for ASML as an engineer, I discovered that I liked understanding physics, but that I did not enjoy working as an engineer in a cleanroom. I went to study Management of Technology in Delft, during my first semester I launched a business which proved very viable and turned into a full-time responsibility, so I left university to run the company full-time. After a year I went back to university, finished my courses, went on an exchange to China to study Computer Science for a semester and started writing my thesis when I came back. While writing my thesis I did some part-time market research and business development work for other companies. After my graduation I joined one of these companies as a managing director, my work was focused on business development and product management.
