However, before I got into consultancy I was a full time employee. The first 5 years of my working career I developed my financial skills at a bank. The next 33 years, I worked as a Group Chief Accountant for an international tea management company, whose head-office is based in London, UK. Thereafter for several years I worked as a Financial Controller for an international Horticultural and Flori-culture company with offices in Nairobi, Kenya and London, UK.
