I have been a banking industry controller for 31 years. I have lead both small and large teams toward successful management of various financial institutions. I also have run a small business providing accounting services to a variety of small to medium size companies in various industries, including mortgage banking, legal and government service contractors. I currently am phasing out of a 27 year commitment as CEO of a federally insured credit union, a non profit financial. I am self-motivated and work well within time constraints. I love accounting. I have an Associates Degree in Accounting. I have spent the last few years building skills in bookkeeping, accounting and tax preparation. I have instant support in the way of my current employer, who is the one is encouraging me to branch out and take on some bookkeeping jobs of my own. As I will be moving to working from home with a few clients from this employer, I am looking for additional work. I will only work from home but will travel as needed within reason. I want to be at home with my kids as much as possible while still fulfilling my dreams.
