I am a screenwriter with a script optioned and in pre-production. In the meantime I am an incredible editor. I will find all of your spelling and grammatical errors, but better yet, I will make your writing flow! I know how to make anything written read smoother, easier, and smarter. My work experience ranges from acting professionally in national commercials, to selling in the green industry, to conducting workshops on the evolution of our monetary systems, to teaching yoga, to volunteering at elementary schools for Bookpals and Young Storytellers. One thing they all have in common is communication. I AM AN EXCELLENT COMMUNICATOR. This is true for me as a speaker, writer, and collaborator. I am also a professional writer and can fulfill your content needs fast with high quality articles. I recently completed the 2 year program at the prestigious Writers Boot Camp in Los Angeles, and am fluent in screenwriting tools and in the skills required to tell a good story in any format.
What do Franz Kafka, Leo Tolstoy, and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe share with yours truly? No, I haven't written a classic of world literature, as they did. But all four of us did turn our backs on the legal arena in the spirit of "the pen is mightier than the sword." I have freelanced as a part-time reader for a prominent Hollywood management company. As a script consultant, I pride myself on helping YOU to realize your cinematic vision. My thorough notes will NOT intimate how I would have drafted the script, but will suggest ways in which you can make YOUR story more screen-worthy. On sabbatical from the California Bar, I have written eight screenwriting how-tos for London-based "ScriptWriter" magazine (now www.twelvepoint.com). Published books include "Contemporizing the Classics: Poe, Shakespeare, Doyle"; "Threshold: Scripting a Coming of Age"; "Lights! Camera! Action!: Crafting an Action Script"; and "The Thriller: Scripting Seat-Gripping Suspense."
I have always had an active imagination, with the ability to craft characters and worlds all within the construct of my mind. I currently work as an Assistant Manager at GameStop, and I love the world of video games because they allow me to interact with stories and characters like no other medium. I hope to use my talent for writing to create epic stories of all different types, to enrich, inform, and excite my readers! I obtained an A.A degree from Valencia before transferring to the university of Central Florida. I graduated from there with my Bachelor's degree in English. I am able to do writing of all types, from fiction to non-fiction, writing short stories, novels, or even just blog posts. I even play my fair share of video games, so in depth reviews are a specialty as well! I am always punctual with dead lines, and I will always provide high quality work.

The topic or subject doesn?t matter and I always guarantee utmost confidentiality. Editing, rewriting and proofreading of existing texts are further areas in which I have become increasingly involved and deliver impeccable results. Happy clients are returning clients, and I am prepared to go the extra mile to achieve that.

With a Bachelors degree in Dramatic Writing from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), I have chosen to dedicate my life to the written word and not just the written word, but all the combinations and subtle nuances words can achieve. Through my studies and real world experiences I have learned the value of expressing myself in the most concise and straightforward manner, thus allowing others to clearly understand my thoughts and ideas. In addition, I am a hard worker who can thrive as easily in a group as I can when working on projects alone and I never have trouble meeting deadlines or going above and beyond what is asked of me. I know that the knowledge I have obtained from past experience will make me a welcome and energetic contributor to any team. I would greatly appreciate the chance to speak with you about an exciting opportunity to work for you. Thank you for your consideration. Best regards, David Bermingham

After graduating with an English degree in 2009 from Lycoming College, I decided to spend some time working trades and traveling in search of varied experiences with confidence that my love for words could endure without academic prompting. The experiences paid off. I have built houses and caught fish. Some of the trades I learned put me in life or death situations the first day (or night) I worked them. But I never stopped writing or lost my intention to do it professionally. Unlike my beginnings in commercial fishing, I feel I can saunter through the world of words with something like confidence. Thank you for taking the time to view my profile.

"A writer is a person for whom writing is more difficult than it is for other people." -- Thomas Mann I like to think that means a writer is someone who makes themselves write--and manages to do it no matter the challenge. I also like to think that means a writer struggles by definition--we hurt ourselves to make sure what we type is more than just "writing." I am a filmmaker and a published author (So You Created A Wormhole: The Time Traveler's Guide To Time Travel) with a degree in journalism. What's important about any one of those things is perhaps nothing much, but the combination provides a sense of my diverse backgrand and is indicative of my range. Whether its tech writing, blogging, scripting, editing, prosing or joking, I have the skills to handle whatever you hurl at me. But not too hard! Contrary to popular belief, writers, too, can bruise.
I write, they read.

Having been a freelance writer for the better part of last ten years you can safely assume I adore creative writing. I have worked extensively with Humour, Horror, Fantasy, Action, Medieval and Western settings in different forms, whether they are video game plots, or prose it matters not. The plots can deal with all sorts of characters, some who fancied political rhetoric, upscale fellowship and partners of a parliamentarian calibre, whilst the others delved in pub humour (or bar humor for my lovely friends across the coast), partook in shot putt slinging in the middle of the night and dealt a double life (sometimes a quadruple life) in the line of duty for the Imperial Highness. No amount of writing is extravagant, nor any kind of writing taboo. I have worked with screenplays, treatments, novels, short stories, lyrics, erotica and blogs. Whilst it may be easy to find a writer, it is oft difficult to find someone who would deliver quality with the quantity you deserve.
