I have eight-plus years experience as a science communication and educational outreach specialist for Earth observing satellite instrument teams at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. In this capacity I gained strong skills related to spatial analysis, pattern recognition, data processing and technical writing. As a contractor I developed both technical and business acumen. Although I have focused on my family for the last four years and have not worked for pay, I have continued my education and worked in my community.
