I speak 3 languages fluently, allowing me a widespread knowledge of writing in different roots (Germanic and Latin specifically) and having journalists for parents and an aspiring writer for a brother, I've grown up recording and writing every detail in this world, and even make up my own worlds in spare time. Many classmates, even teachers, ask me to proofread their work or their tests, in the teachers cases, before printing a good copy. I've actually scored 97% on my English Provincial exam which is extremely rare! Writing is my life, as is a multitude of other things such as artistic pursuits and organizing my parents works.
I have had a love of writing since I was small. I mainly do creative writing. I'm good with spelling and grammar. I'm a hard worker, and usually keep working on a project until I get it done.

Graduated Rockland Community College with Associate of Arts, then went on to SUNY New Paltz with a Bachelor of Arts in English, with a focus on Creative Writing and Multimedia Production(Film, video, audio, etc.). I'm Ashlin, a young reader/writer from the bottom of the world, beautiful New Zealand. My skills lie in the area of the written and spoken word. I have a natural flair for this versatile language and my many years of reading fictitious novels from a young age have given me an almost instinctual knowledge of word placement and writing for effect. I specialize in short writings for blogs and other forms of written entertainment, although I will certainly not shy away from proofreading and error checking.
Since I can remember, I have been in love with paper. Writing, filing, organizing. I guess we all have our thing. Pair that with a curious mind, I spent a majority of my childhood reading medical encyclopedias, writing poetry, and studying the dictionary for fun. I was a full blown nerd. As an adult, I have worked for some large corporations in Administrative positions, until I was able to launch a business of my own. After a few years of working to stabilize the company, I moved on and am now an Ayurvedic (oldest form of Naturopathic medicine) intern. I find myself with a lot of available time and a still ever yearning need for my love writing, researching, and above all, helping.

Hey, My name is Mal Cole. I am eighteen years of age; coming from a large Irish family, and presently residing in Australia. I am a current student at the Victorian College of the Arts within the University of Melbourne undergoing a Bachelor of Screenwriting. Writing is my passion and what I strive to excel at. I can more than hold my own with then pen, and am something of a pedant when it comes to grammar and punctuation. I could go on and talk about how I graduated within the top ten percent of English students in the State of Victoria, but I'd rather not blow steam up my own horn... A quick side note: I wish any and everybody trying to pursue a career in this path the best of luck! If writing is what brings you fulfilment you have my dearest hopes that you persist and that your efforts will be rewarded.

I don't have a college degree (yet), and I'm too young to boast of decades of experience. What I do have is a passion for writing, reading and grammar that started before I entered primary school. All of my life, I have been told by teachers that I would grow up to be a librarian, so passionate was my love for literature, but when I started writing, the thought of me as a librarian seemed rather silly. I am a born writer, a verbimancer if you will, and an admirer of all languages. After I get my degree as an American Sign Language Interpreter, I plan on studying linguistics. Although, as a future linguist, I know that I should simply study the progression of language, I have a love of proper grammar and spelling and cannot help but attempt to correct instances of incorrect English. So, though I may not have the degrees and certifications that you might expect, I do have the passion to write - or correct and edit, whichever you might need. I also have been drawing anime for some years.

It all started with a murder on the roof. It was 2003 and I was a member of The Roanoke Times Minority Journalism workshop. As we sat down, someone yelled, ÂThere was a murder on the roof! Everyone grab your notepads and go! As we ran upstairs, I felt my heart racing and adrenaline pumping. I wanted all the facts and I wanted to get them first. Soon, we realized that this was only an activity and the introduction to the workshop. That didnÂt change the drive and excitement I had to find out the truth. At that moment, I was positive that journalism is what I was meant to do.
