“Chris is a true professional. At times he told me things I didn't want to hear, as well as posed difficult decisions I had to make -- all in the name of creating my project to the truest and best of his ability (as well as my expectations.) There's a lot of people on eLance who will simply tell you what you want to hear, gladly invoice you for unfinished work, or leave you hanging when their interest in your project wanes -- not Chris. He essentially took over a sinking ship, communicated with me rigorously about the issues at hand, posed multiple scenarios to right the project with realistic time-tables and outlines, and tackled the project in the best way he could: as if it were his own.”
“Conrado seems like a fine man, capable of performing work; however, for my unique experience it seems like he was caught at a very bad time personally and failed to execute what he was paid to do.
More so than that, his inability to commit to a concept and carry-through with it left me with very little help or improvement on my platform.
Do I believe Conrado is capable? Yes. But perhaps he is not the type of person who can work in a more open and creative environment. At times he strayed from the immediate demands of his specific tasks, and began mentally exploring greater solutions and applications that were not relevant to our project at all. In the end, a pretty simple concept that was clearly explained went unfinished over the course of one-month. The next employed individual was able to complete the same task in 3 days.
I do wish him the best of luck and hope that the next projects he takes on he will dedicate fully so that both parties can appreciate one another and leave the business-relationship feeling best about the time spent together; unfortunately, for me, this does not seem to be the case from an employer level.”
