“Avoid Kliotech at all costs.
They are not fit to develop software applications and our company wasted a significant amount of time attempting to assist them with their development.
We are now over $6,000 out of pocket and have a piece of software that is unusable.
Kliotech were consistently unable to read from our database tables and despite hundreds of items of feedback and a solid brief, they continued to struggle to understand what needed to be done.
The project was meant to be completed within around 45 days. Over 100 days into the project the software lagged for approximately 30 seconds when a user made a query.
We employ several backend developers who I wish we had given the project too, but unfortunately they had more pressing tasks. Each developer commented that the code was inefficient and unsound.
In response to this concern Kliotech told us that they only 'Sanatize' code once they finish a project, which should let anybody who knows anything about development know what kind of operation this company is.
We have failed to receive any of our money back from Elance and will not be using the site again. ”
“To start off, the database problem and the coding standards problem which the client, pokervip referring is not true. Like he has mentioned the database was built by his previous developer and the software was slow because of it. We showed facts about this and even spent several hours in recreating the entire database at no cost to satisfy him.
The software was exactly built the way pokervip wanted and we released the full working software well on time. He started using the software and kept asking additions/modifications to it. The changes were major and were not part of the original agreed scope or requirements.
In order to save the project and to keep the client satisfied we executed several hours worth of changes and modifications. We even delivered the source code to the clients server after he promised us to pay the balance 50% which eventually he did not.
We spent hours and hours chatting over Skype training, explaining and clarifying things. He failed to respond to any of our voice/Skype call requests to discuss things. He would just randomly appear online in Skype and just keep sending text messages which most of the time had irrelevant information or just threats of canceling the project if we dont do the changes / modifications.
All our projects have been successful in the past. With pokervip's unprofessional ways, even with our best efforts to satisfy the client, its unfortunate that this had to end this way.
When we reported the problem with the pokervip to Elance, they verified the facts and released the left over funds to us.”

We have attached a rough brief for PokeFlow and some sketches.
It is important that this application is built with solid foundations that can allow it to be expedited onto other platforms (i.e. Mac, tablet) in the future without a complete restructing being necessarry.
The application must be intuitive and efficient with space.
