We want to setup or own mail server but we are afraid to get any spamming related problem that could get our domain in a black list.
Skills: e-mail marketing, mail server implementation, bulk marketing
“This was a study to understand fiscal needs in some countries that was to be delivered by filling a questionare. The questions were responded in a very limited way by answering questions with yes or no, for example, if asked if a particular tax applies for argentina, instead of a yes, we wanted to know details for example the tax rate and how ofted is paid. When we ask the contractor to give details in the answers he denied saying that was out of scope. The responses were in a rude manner. This was very diferent from the reports from the other contractors. The others were polite and gave detailed responses. We think that the contractor was not an expert in the area and may have been difficult for him to look the answers.
A well responded questionare would take 30 minutes to respond if the person was an expert. I am not satisfied and will have to look another contractor to complete the job.”
“Unfortunatelly Mr mdecastro77 was not capable of minimally defiing his requirements for the job or maybe it was a strategy. The initial requirement for the job was to answer a a simple questionnaire about taxes. As soon as client accepted the proposal started to increase the scope of the work with more requirements. In a fix price job if you increase the scope you should increase the price as well, but this was not in client's mind.
I strongly recommend not to work with this client if you, as a cantractor, value your time and effort.
About being rude: if politely saying "no" to aditional requirements is considered being rude, yes I've been rude, sorry about that.”
“Feedback is unfair and misleading.
The unfair component is that client can’t expect from a one and a half pages, “yes or no” answers questionnaire, to be completed under a 250$ budget; to get an understanding of fiscal needs in Argentina. Answers to questions such as how often a tax is paid and rate ranges were delivered. Client expectations about deliverables were inconsistent with the statement of work initially published for the job.
The misleading component has to do with judgment about contractor skills. As a contractor I’ve never pretended to be an expert in taxes (my profile does not show this skill); therefore when I was invited to quote I’ve engaged a specialist in taxes for this job. This situation was clearly announced in my proposal to the client.
Expertise is maliciously rated in the feedback because I’m sure client will not find a single wrong item in the answers provided.
I suggest free lancers to be careful with this client if they expect to get a fair value for their work and a consistent feedback. ”
