However, I am a little surprised by the ratings, considering that I met all of the client's requests, including revising work I was already in the process of completing when I was advised of some additional preferences which needed to be met. While I understand if you prefer to reserve a 5 for absolutely exceptional work well beyond the requirements of the project, I believe that many contractors don't have time to look at the details of the proposal or feedback received, so they automatically dismiss ratings in the mid or low 4s.
If you would be kind enough to review your ratings on this job, I would appreciate it very much. Someone who can take the time to read what you wrote obviously has the benefit of your opinion, but a contractor in a hurry, or trying to review a multitude of proposals, might not necessarily be able to do so.
