“Thanks for the 5 STARS and top ratings. The project scope involved enhancing a Magento based ecommerce website. We have customized the default checkout process to implement one page/click checkout. We have also implemented tax calculations at the checkout section based on the shipping address entered by the users. For tax calculations, we have enabled Magento┐s default shipping methods and have also created a custom extension for shipping cost calculation for Switzerland. As a part of the project, we have also enhanced multiple features such as unique profile ID implementation with export feature, fixations on payment gateway. We would like to thank you for your ready availability and thoughtful feedbacks which helped us to complete the tasks exactly as per your requirements in a timely fashion. It was a pleasure working with you and we shall look forward to working with you on the upcoming phases of the project. Thanks again. ┐ The SynapseIndia team.
“Though the buyer has given 3 Star rating, but the comments "Contractor lost interest and walked away" state the obvious ! The project involved big fixes and updates on a Magento store. The buyer is not the owner of the site, but a Service Provider himself. The work started in March 2012 and we stopped working in mid- June 2012 after the buyer started haggling repeatedly on the tasks and not willing to pay. He wanted us to work for free, which we obviously refused. We mutually agreed not continue further work. No task was pending at that point of time and no further task was assigned as well. All was well till that point of time.
Couple of days back while doing housekeeping of projects here on elance, we noticed that this project was open. We marked the status of this job as "complete", which was just a usual action. The buyer just reverted back with this unsolicited and unwarranted feedback, to reasons best known to him.
We are confident that our existing as well as prospective buyers won;t get dissuaded by these comments. We will be happy to respond should any one seeks clarification on this particular feedback.”
“We advise prospective providers to ensure to take his maintenance tasks, which he outsources on behalf of his clients, one by one and close the project. Once he starts, he will start haggling thereafter. Also make sure that the tasks are documented, project is completed and feedback, if required, is left by him immediately. Or else you run the risk of his whims getting a negative feedback long after you mark the project as "complete" , as he is most likely won''t be able to recognise / recall the good work you might have delivered to him. ”
