Job Overview:

We are in search of two experienced Senior QA Test Engineers to join our remote team in a newly established department focused on developing processes and tools for testing MERN stack Web Apps. This role requires working during U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST) and is initially a short-term contract with the potential to evolve into a long-term engagement.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute test cases to diagnose issues and bugs, creating test plans that cover all aspects of functionality.

Work closely with development teams to integrate testing protocols into the design and development stages.

Analyze test results, document software defects, and report them to project managers and development teams.

Ensure that the final product adheres to the predefined quality standards.

Recommend improvements to enhance user experience and optimize the performance of web applications.

Manage testing schedules and ensure timely delivery of feedback.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a QA Test Engineer with a focus on web applications.

Familiarity with both custom solutions and self-hosted platforms.

Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, as the role involves collaboration with a globally distributed team.

Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
