Expert Book Designer with Professional Experience

Writing your book was the hard part. Now it's time to bring your book to life. In the world of publishing, this means having a solid design, a clean and easy-to-read text layout, and a style that matches the message of your book. It means having a professional and eye-catching cover that will attract your target audience. It means finding someone who is both an expert designer and has a deep passion for book design. Fortunately, I am both of those things. I am no stranger to hard work, tight deadlines, and going above and beyond to create the perfect design. I have worked in the publishing industry for more than 10 years. I spent the first 3.5 years working for a self-publishing company formatting the interior and cover designs for paperbacks, hardcovers, and eBooks in every genre imaginable. For the next 5 years, I worked for a math company creating/designing textbooks for publishers such as National Geographic Learning, Pearson Education, and Cengage. Each of these publishers demanded a high level of professionalism and expertise from every design that I created. Now, I am a full-time freelance graphic designer working from home! I am an expert in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Word. I have extensive experience with typography, image manipulation, and page layout. I am very familiar with the requirements for both print and eBooks being published through Amazon KDP, Create Space, IngramSpark, Lulu, and others. I am also very familiar with the PDF requirements for a book or project that is being sent to a large-scale printer, such as Lighting Source or Quad Graphics. Your project is important to me.
