We are looking for a miniature power supply to drive a LED string in a series around 120V +/- (depending on output from supply) from an input of 90-130 VAC/60Hz at 350mA average current (90-260VAC even better). The LED is a standard DC led (around 3V forward voltage). The supply must fit into a small space: 1.15" x .3" x the shortest length possible.
The LED ouput does not need to be isolated from the mains but should be regulated in either a constant voltage or preferably a constant current configuration. The design should use commercial off-the-shelf components. Another possible configuration is to drive lower voltage strings (e.g 12-24VDC) in parallel from a constant voltage supply.
The ideal circuit will be dimmable from a standard phase-cut dimmer, but if this is not possible, a PWM input should be provided for an external signal. Energy star approval is not required, but the product will be eventually submitted to UL so components and board spacings should take this in...
