Looking for a simple access database to allow me to monitor what machinery, accomodation units and miscellaneous office furniture we have on our building sites. It is basically an assett sheet.
There is a company that currently does this and you can view it at [obscured] -manager.co.uk although this software can only be rented and I would prefer we owned it fully.
The database would allow a section to have our owned plant and also a section for rented plant, allowing cost forecasting to be done as to how long we intend to rent this piece of machinery for, how much it will cost, allowing a decision to be made if it should be bought. Mainly it will allow a cost check on the current plant expenditure whilst also showing what site our assetts are on.
