We are looking for a talented Android Kernel Developer capable of modifying an existing OEM BSP to support external USB cameras on commercially available Android tablets. Specific camera and tablet to be selected after further technical discussion.
The objective is to use a standard external USB webcam to provide video to existing Android conferencing apps (Skype, Google talk or other) running on a 'newer' Android based tablet.
To do this, we need you to create an updated BSP (or subset of files which can be uploaded to target) that will support streaming video from a USB UVC camera using standard, unmodified versions of Android V2IP applications for voice and video. Note, this update will be completed by experienced developers, not end users.
