My shoestring budget startup company will be launching a new web application and we are installed on a cloud server that we can instantly upgrade to higher memory and cpu power. Our hope of course is after launch, we slowly start increasing traffic higher and higher and higher...and so I need to be ready to
1) closely monitor traffic and use of our servers, so we know when to push the button to increase power (We will do this with Zenoss.)
2) Increase my server memory and cpu power (This I can do with the touch of a button)
3) tune our server (centos,apache and mysql) to take advantage of the memory and power. ( I need help here)
Now, to prepare for all that, I also want to:
4) Install and configure a server load testing software so I can run some load tests on the server- again so I can practice steps: 1,2,3.
