AspPDF Com Object Test from Perl

Write a simple perl script for my asp.net server that uploads a file, stores it in a mysql db, then uses ASP-PDF to get the page count. Then, displays the page count. The program must be in perl.

My asp.net server has perl (activeperl), mysql, and aspPDF installed.

In order to get the page count using aspPDF from perl, the aspPDF functions must be accessed using a COM object. (3 lines of code, according to asp-pdf) For more information on aspPDF, visit   [obscured]

This is a simple demonstration project. The deliverable is a simple site (not pretty) that is installed on my server and works as described above. The purpose is to write code that accesses the COM object from perl, so the code can be reused in another perl/mysql based site.

Budget: $50
Time frame: 3 days.
