Here’s what I need.
I own a number of like 10 stores. Each has a lot of different items to sell. Most of our sales are now taken by phone with live representatives. We now employ nearly 50 employees just for taking orders. I now want to eliminate them by having it all automated via an IVR.
So here is how it should work.
The call comes in, we first play a nice greeting with multiple options to the caller, like “Hi & Thank you for calling ABC. To place an order, press 1, to check the status of an existing order #2, to speak to an operator 0.
Now, once they choose option 1 which is to place an order, we’ll ask the customer for his account telephone number [which has to be recognized by the system as an active account]. Once account telephone number matched the database, we’ll ask the caller to enter each item number followed by the # sign, and the quantity followed by the #.
