The job is to listen to a series of 25 recorded conference calls of about 60 minutes in length, and provide two deliverables:
1. Outline of the discussion (with time stamps for each major topic)
2. Parsed files - creating smaller segments corresponding to each topic (where appropriate)
The recordings are of monthly conference call training and Q&A's for health professionals. Typically one topic is discussed for 45 to 60 minutes, then a Q&A period follows on a wide variety of topics from callers.
The challenge for my staff to use the recordings is finding the relevant content quickly and easily.
For example, say I need to quickly learn about Syndrome A. On recording #3 at minute 21:34 there's a four minute discussion on this topic. I want to be able to go directly to that spot on the recording and listen, but absent a time-stamped outline, I have no idea where to find that discussion.
So an outline would allow me to locate the needed info and fast-forward the recording...
