Guiderer.com is a site that lets anyone create a travel guide for any destination. The guide creator chooses a city, then lists the points of interest, and the system then finds images, addresses and maps.
Currently, each point of interest (POI) is mapped with Google Maps. Soon, POIs will be organized into day tours (day 1 = 4 POIs, day 2= 5 POIs, day 3= 3 POIs). This way the traveller will know exactly what to do on each day and in what sequence.
WHAT WE NEED:
On the VIEW GUIDE page (like [obscured] /guides/99 ), we want to display a big map along the top of the page that has:
1) All the POI from that guide. if a guide has 14 POIs, the map should show the 14 markers.
2) The markers should be marker with text, like the ones on trulia.com search results. in our case it would say"Day: Louvre"
3) a dotted line between the markers, so that the sequence of Points of interest the user should visit is shown visually, just like the map on the homepage of [...
