This new biz plan is to turn Hipp Kitchen into a culinary edutainment center and online resource. My target market is people with food allergies and sensitivities (I refer to them as Allergenista's). I am a chef and have been cooking for these folks, successfully collaborating with nutritionists, for nearly four years. My plan is to bring a chef's perspective to this market and to educate (and entertain) folks about how many delicious, nutritious and safe food choices they actually have, rather than not.
As the awareness of food allergies continues to grow at a rapid pace, it represents a true shift in the market (as opposed to a fad). The market potential for this chronically underserved audience is already huge and continues to expand.
My aim is to build a facility; a venue; in which we can do cooking classes, chef demo's, how-to video production and events. Because of the cross-contamination concern for the Allergenista, the entire facility will be dedicated as 100% gluten ...
