I need a modification done on SVG-edit.

When the user clicks on the ''Path'' tool, a label is displayed next to the cursor that shows the length of the path as it is being drawn. For example if a user wants to draw a star with the path tool, each time he placed a node, the label is zeroed and starts counting again the subpath(path segment). The label will not display the total path of the length but the length of the subpath before that subpath is created(a node is placed).

This must be done to help users draw accurate line lengths.(the users must be able to view the lengths of the subpaths they are creating before they create them in order to know where to put the nodes).

The label that activates with the path tool must show the length of the subpaths to help them do just that.

Once the label is activated it must be displayable only over the workarea(the canvas) so as not to interfer with the user when he just wants to either change the tool or choose a File-Save as option fo...
