We use an off-the-shelf build server which allows us to create virtual machine images (VMDKs) based on a CentOS installation and a specific kickstart-like configuration (attached as vabs.cfg).
We would like the build server to generate a custom CentOS installation ISO (DVD) based on the kickstart file and a few other pieces of information.
The process should be:
You create a script (bash) which receives the location of a CentOS DVD ISO (file, not mount), the location of the vabs.cfg file, a list of custom RPMs and the location of where to find the custom RPMs. The script will:
1. Generate a kickstart file based on the vabs.cfg, with the following modifications:
1.a. Instead of using a network installation, it should use a CD installation (that is, the kickstart file will reside on the ISO with the CentOS installation files).
1.b. Remove the line which configure the network ("network --bootproto...").
1.c. In the "pre" code, remove "# report to VADK" and "wget [obscured] /cgi-bi...
