1. I have attached a paper by Akinlalu & Asere showing results of some experimental work. I would like to perform 2D or 3D CFD analysis on their work and validate CFD results with their work. This would be the very minimum requirement for this work.
2. But to take it a step further, and perhaps more involved if you will, I would like to do CFD study on:
a. turbulence/turbulence swirling flow of the combustor/burner in the work of Akinlalu & Asere and validate with other experimental data in published literature. See attached paper by Widmann et. al.
b. flow field/aerodynamics characteristics of the Akinlalu & Asere burner and validate with any other experimental works in published literature.
c. flame characteristics and dynamics and also validate with published literature.
d. Effect of inlet swirl number on flame dynamics plus validation with experimental works published.
e. Heat transfer in the burner due to swirling flow.
